Field Support Services, Inc. (FSSI) is an SBA certified 8(a) subsidiary of the Arctic Slope Regional Corporation (ASRC) and one of several companies that have combined resources and staffing under the direction of the Arctic Slope Federal Holding Company (AFHC). ASRC is one of 12 Alaska Native Regional Corporations formed in 1971 under the Alaska Native Claims Settlement Act. ASRC's headquarters is located in Barrow, Alaska, with corporate offices in Anchorage, AK.

ASRC is a private, for profit Alaska Native Corporation (ANC) representing the business interest of the Arctic Slope Inupiat Eskimos of Alaska's North Slope. FSSI is a Twenty-year old company that was previously an independent contractor specializing in Logistics and Transportation. Having an excellent past performance, in 2000 ASRC purchased FSSI making it an Alaska Native Corporation. Since that time FSSI has grown and expanded it operations and now specializes in Government Base Operations Services Support (BOSS), Logistics Operations and Environmental Remediation.
