DESCRIPTION:

FSSI provides management, logistical analytical support and engineering services for the Department of Defense (DoD), The National Automotive Center (NAC), US ARMY and NAC's collaborative partners. Specific areas of responsibility include:

 

US ARMY Technology/Business Tracking Tracking encompassing design, implementation, modification and/or maintaining US ARMY Technology that supports acquisition, organization maintenance, utilization and dissemination of informational materials and services.

Strategic/Business Planning for assessing near-, mid- and long-term technology requirements for mission execution of basic research collaborative Technology development, technology transfer and advanced manufacturing by preparing technical documentation, and/ or business plans (abstracts, reports, briefing packages, visual reproductions, and electronic presentations resulting from such research/ plans or analysis).

US ARMY Outreach requires FSSI to provide administrative and logistical support for ARMY-sponsored executive outreach activities such as leadership/ management meeting with Government, Industry and/ or Academia.

Collaborative Research and Development
requires FSSI to identify, investigate and analyze within the defense sector, commercial manufacturing, academia and other research and development groups for Cooperative Research and Development opportunities and agreements

Automotive Engineering, Modeling, Simulation and Digitalization Support
adds program enhancements for military systems through Commercial Off-the-Shelf modeling and simulation applications as well as digitalization technologies to provide for interactive man-in-the-loop or hardware-in-the-loop simulations. FSSI teams with the US ARMY divisions for integration of new vehicle technologies into the military legacy fleet and the design of future fuel efficient tactical vehicles.

  • Vehicle Diagnostic.
  • CAD/CAM & CAE Engineering.

Alternative Energy Solutions for Military Energy/ Security requires FSSI to focus research on fuel cell technology and fuels produced from alternative energy resources and advanced concept technology related to advanced clean fuels production and hybrid electric power trains and their possible application for military ground vehicles, marine and aircraft engines and equipment.
